Icon of the Resurrection, and another taken in Norwich Cathedral.
"The icon has been placed in a vestibule round the back and underneath the place where the reigning bishop would sit. In previous times, the vestibule would contain holy relics, and a flue (just above the icon here) would convey the essence of the relics towards the bishop and hopefully guide him in his decisions."

The First Day of Creation
From the dome of the St. Paravskevi Church, NY.
Moses is shown writing the events in the bottom of the picture, God the Word is shown forming the light and the dark. God the Father should never, really*, be shown in iconography - either as an grey-bearded old man or in any other form.
*that is not to say that you won't find (many!) icons that depict the Father, just that the canons of iconography do not actually permit this. |

Taken by a Deacon who visited San Francisco.
| Quote: | | "The remarkable mosaics of the Greek Orthodox Church of the Holy Trinity in San Francisco, taken in March 2008 during the installation of the new mosaic of Christ Pantokrator on the dome - the largest face of Christ in the western hemisphere." |
This and this picture give an idea of the scale of the Christ Pantokrator mosaic being installed.
