I will post readings from the Greek Orthodox Church's Lectionary on here; other posters are also welcome to post their own readings. Any verses that stand out or that posters wish to discuss in more detail can be made into the topic of a new thread.
Colossians 2:13-20
13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
16 So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths,
17 which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ.
18 Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
19 and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
20 Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations-

Luke 12:42-48
42 And the Lord said, "Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his master will make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant whom his master will find so doing when he comes.
44 Truly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all that he has.
45 But if that servant says in his heart, 'My master is delaying his coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and be drunk,
46 the master of that servant will come on a day when he is not looking for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
47 And that servant who knew his master's will, and did not prepare himself or do according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he who did not know, yet committed things deserving of stripes, shall be beaten with few. For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.

Luke 11:42-46
42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone. 43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets. 44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them. 45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying thou reproachest us also. 46 And he said, Woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

2 Corinthians 5:1-10
1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven: 3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked. 4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life. 5 Now he that hath wrought us for the selfsame thing is God, who also hath given unto us the earnest of the Spirit. 6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: 7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord. 9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

For by faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign land, dwelling in tents with Issac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
By faith Abraham, when he was tested, offered up Issac, and he who had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said "In Issac your name shall be called," concluding that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead, from which he also received him in a figurative sense.
By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of the sons of Joseph, and worshipped, leaning on the top of his staff.
By faith Joseph, when he was dying, made mention of the departure of the children of Israel, and gave instructions concerning his bones.
By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months by his parents, because they saw he wwas a beautiful child; and they were not afraid of the king's command.
And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, God having provided something better from us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us.

Mark 9:42-10:1
42 But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.
43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having two hands, to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched-
44 where 'Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched.'
45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame, rather than having two feet, to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched-
46 where 'Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched.'
47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire-
48 where 'Their worm does not die, And the fire is not quenched.'
49 For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.
50 Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.
1 Then He arose from there and came to the region of Judea by the other side of the Jordan. And multitudes gathered to Him again, and as He was accustomed, He taught them again.

1st Friday after Pentecost
The Gospel Reading is from Matthew 5:33-41
Quote:
The Lord said, "You have heard that it was said to the men of old, 'You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.' But I say to you, Do not swear at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. Let what you say be simply 'Yes' or 'No'; anything more than this comes from evil. You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' But I say to you, Do not resist one who is evil. But if any one strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also; and if any one would sue you and take your coat, let him have your cloak as well; and if any one forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles."
Whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also St. John Chrysostom. Homily XVIII on Matthew V, 1,2. B#54, pp. 124-125.
Quote:
What then, it is said, ought we not to resist the evil one? Indeed we ought, but not in this way, but - as He has commanded - by giving one's self up to suffer wrongfully; for so you will prevail over him. For one fire is not quenched by another, but fire by water ... He says this, not to legislate only about such a blow as this but also to teach what forbearance we should practice in all our other trials. For just as when He says, 'whoso calls his brother fool, is in danger of hell,' He also speaks ... of all reviling. Even so he is here also making a law: not so much of our bearing it manfully when smittend, as that we should be undisturbed, whatever we suffer. Because of this He singled out the extremest insult ... and He comands this as applying both to him who strikes and to him who is stricken. He who is insulted will not think that he suffers any harm ... and he who is offering the affront will be made ashamed. ... Now if you give and abstain from suing, you have sought your own advantage only; but if you give hom some other thing, you have made him better also, and so sent him away. Of this nature is sald, which is what he would have them to be, seeing it both recruits itself, and keeps all other bodies with which it may associate: of this nature is light, for it shows objects both to a man's self and to others.

1st Week after Pentecost
Saturday Romans 1:7-12; Matthew 5:42-48
Romans 1
7To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.
8First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.
9For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers;
10Making request, if by any means now at length I might have a prosperous journey by the will of God to come unto you.
11For I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be established;
12That is, that I may be comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.
"Without ceasing, I make mention of you always in my prayers"
Quote:
An exordium worhty of this blessed spirit, and able to teach all men to offer unto God the firstlings of their good deeds and words, and to render thanks not only for their own, but also for others' well-doings. This also makes the soul pure from envy and grudging and draws God in a greater measure towards the loving spirit of those who so render thanks .... Paul drew near to God not only in behalf of one city, but of the whole world, and not once, or twice, or thrice, but continually. But if the continually bearing any one about in one's memory would not happen without much love, to have any persons in one's prayers, and to have them there continually, think what great affection and friendship that implies!
But when he says, 'Whom I serve with the spirit in the Gospel of His Son,'he shows us both the grace of God, and his own humble-mindedness: the grace of God because he imputes it all not to his own zeal, but to the assistance of the Holy Spirit. The addition of 'the Gospel,' shows the kind of ministry. For there aer many and diverse modes of service.
St. John Chrysostom. Homily II on Romans I. B#55,pp.343-344.
Matthew 5
42Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
46For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
47And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
48Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
"Love your enemies, and bless those who curse you"
Quote:
You see how He has set the highest pinnacle on our good deeds ... For He did not say, 'do not hate', but 'love'; He did not say, 'do not injure' but ' 'do good'. If anyone should examine this accurately, he will see that even to these things something is added
....For neither did He simply command to love, but to pray. Do you see how many steps He has ascended, and how He has set us on the very summit of virtue? Mark it, numbering from the beginning: A first stepo is not to begin with injustice: a second after he has begun, not to vindicate one's self by equal retaliation; a third .. to be quiet; a fourth, even to give one's self up yet more than the other who did the wrong wishes; a sixth, not to hate him ... a seventh, even to love him; an eighth, to do to him good also, a ninth, to entreat God Himself on his behalf.
Do you see what height of self-command?
....
Do not trample on the fallen, but rather pity him ... stretch forth a hand, and continue to support him through his struggles ... God will straightaway crown you, and will require you with ten thousand honours, because you have freed your brother from a grievous disease, and that brother too will honour you as master, even reverencing your forbearance...
-St. John Chrysostom. Homily XVIII on Matthew V, 4, 5. B#54. pp 126-127.

Ceramic already did provide a commentary of the passages in the same post.
In any case, as I said in the OP:
